Major Motko Kusanagi- description of the character

Major Motko Kusanagi is very strong, intelligent and beautiful character. She is an extraordinary example of human android. The reason she is so special is her 'ghost' that make her more human among others androids. She lives in an apocalyptic world where war between man and machine is constant thus differences between human and technology are inevitably blurred. In a consequence, man and machine became one. Human life was consumed by technology. there is no gender and no sens of self any more. Major Motko Kusanagi battles against technology and cyber crimes, trying to restore lost humanity. Her Armour is integrated with her organic body and made of pieces of metal and computers she found amid ruins of buildings. She is a cyborg but deep inside her human nature is battling for resurrection.

Costume Inspiration-Stymphalian Birds; Terry Gulliam 'Brazil'

Stymphalian Birds -Greek Mythology; man-eating birds with beaks of bronze and sharp metalic feathers theu could launch at their victims and were sacred to Ares, the God of War. In ancient times our humanity and sens of self was pure and uncontaminated by technology. It was a time of our roots. The roots of humanity. In a consequence I have decided to incorporate feathers and beak within my robotic Armour.
